Its taken some work to get this far, I never thought we’d get here…but…here we are!!!

Presuming you have read the About Us section and really sensibly read the what this blog is about introduction you will know a little about what on Earth is going on…to expand on that and to have a place to start…I will start by explaining how we decided to do this.

While planning our amazing adventure travelling around the World we decided we needed a purpose. Being 30 lots of our friends are getting married and of course we are interested in us getting married ‘one day’ so we decided to look for crazy places to get married and throw a wedding party!

We trawled the tinternet looking for ‘unique‘ places to get married and came up with the usual mansions, London eyes, hotels and so on and so forth. I mean don’t get me wrong, these places are perfect but if you know us…(I’m sure you’ll get to know us through this blog) these places just aren’t the biscuit!! We’re talking the stone henges of the world, on a flight, in the jungle, on a rope bridge over a flowering swamp…actually UNIQUE places!

We figures there must be SOME like-minded folks out there somewhere and hence decided to share our amazing finds of perfect places to get married via 2people1life. This of course escalated, as per the norm in the land of Lisa and Al, and turned into I do, I do, Ido with the idea of us actually HAVING a wedding in all of these amazing places!!!

Of course, it makes sense…how better to help you guys find the perfect place for your wedding than to try it on for size?!?! We’ll be able to tell you the ups and downs, show you the wedding pictures and potentially put you in touch with the right people to make your day super special!
