We hunkered down, dragged out our laptops and set to work. As we weren’t hooked up to any power we had to use our trusty back battery to charge the laptops. Alex plugged in and instantly the whirring of the converter started. It apparently makes this noise if our battery is low. we ignored it…until it started to beep. Loud and high, it is probably the most annoying noise ever and it wasn’t long before Alex had had enough. He pulled the bed up to check the battery underneath and it was full. He ripped the converter off the wall, dismantled it completely, pulled the beep out and put it back together again.
Problem solved.
So once our laptops were quietly charged we got stuck in. The first thing I did of course was log on to watch my sisters wedding! I was so excited when it was still listed and loaded the video. I left it for 10 minutes thinking as the connection was low it would take some uploading and checked my mail while I impatiently waited. 10 minutes later we gathered around to watch my little sister walk down the aisle and my nephew as the most handsome little page boy. My mum had made the bouquets and my Dad was making a speach. I was just really looking forward to feeling like I had been there and seen everyone. I pressed play.
Nothing happened.
We watched the black screen for 5 minutes. We checked the volume, checked we had the software to play it, checked we were online. We checked everything and it still didn’t work. We gave it one last try on Alex’s laptop and still no Joy.
The video just didn’t work. So after waiting almost 4 whole days to see my sisters wedding I STILL couldn’t see it. It was the middle of the night back home but I messaged my sister anyway and woke her up. She said she had tried to watch it but there was only sound and that it had not worked!!!!
How can that happen??
How can someone offer a service to record your wedding and it not work???
Hayley received a refund but that is beside the point! I will now never see my sisters wedding and it makes me sad, angry and disgusted with the company for allowing that to happen.
Its like a wedding photographer rocking up to a wedding with a flat battery and giving you your money back…what good is that to anyone??
Anyway, I could rant on about this forever and a day but I wont. I will just tell you it lead to tears and upset.
It made ME feel like I’D let her down!
So after my tears and a little tantrum I decided to calm down as there was nothing that could be done but to complain when I wasn’t so emotional! We got to work, posted some pictures to the blogs and fell asleep where we were parked…and then there was a knock at the door. The security asking us if we should be there. We showed them our camping pass and they said good night. We fell back to sleep untill the next knock…and the next one…all for the same thing.

So a broken nights sleep later we decided to go and test out the pools!
They were freezing so we wandered around until it was lunch time and hit the road again! Wonder what today will bring!?!
