We hate Pop Up’s too, can you help us get rid of it!?

Our project is established but our site is new and although we have weddings specialists in over 60 countries it’s going to take time to get everyone on the ship. If you can’t find exactly what you want please get in touch and if you are an awesome wedding specialist or you know people you want to recommend let us know.

After winding down with the family we set off back to Ivans where we had been invited to stay for the night. We had a lovely room with an amazing view of the Ocean and we collapsed into bed worn out. We spent the next day relaxing in the room and pottering around in Peggy, trying to hook up the ipod to the radio (fail), continuing with our spring clean and trying to cease the incessant squeak from the dash board. It soon came the time to say farewell to Ivan and Haydee and they saw us off with hugs and kisses and future invites to the cabanas.

We got back to Francho and Marias and had more farewells as we left with Penny and Claudio back to Santiago to stay with them for a few days. Santiago was fun, we saw little of it but only because we were so tired and needed desperately to catch up on the blog. We enjoyed more spending the time with Nico and Lucas in the day and Penny and Claudio on the night. We indulged ourselves in the supermarket and cooked boeuf bourguignon for them the first night and insisted on cooking again the second night so we could make them Pisco sours and a roast chicken dinner!

While we were there I went to get a haircut, I was so sick of my hair being a mess and although I had really wanted to grow it it just wasn’t working so I bit the bullet. We drove into town and found a hairdresser that spoke English. I showed him a picture of my hair before and a picture of a similar cut that I liked and he got to work.

I left there crying looking like I had aged 40 years. He had cut my hair into a blow dried enormous Bob! I showed him the picture again and pointed out that the style I wanted was asymmetrical and not a bob so he cut one side off! I had to leave before he did any more damage and went back to Penny’s and immediately washed it out. The cut was dreadful, Alex calmed me by saying he would restyle it for me so it looked better but no matter how we tried I looked like a choir boy or a 70 year old!!! We gave up in the end and I put my headband back on and put it down to experience…never to have my hair cut again hahahaa!

Anyway aside from that we had such a great time in Santiago, relaxing, playing with the kids and chatting with Penny and Claudio and we were sad when we had to leave. We said our farewells, I left Alex to check we hadn’t left anything behind (which resulted in him leaving his Jacket, a brand new hand cream he had just bought and my new mascara!!) an we waved as we left for Argentina! Of course we got completely lost in the middle of Santiago even after being given instructions, directions and a telling off for not having a map. In the end we pulled over down a side street, had a little paddy about it, breathed a little and tried again. We eventually (and only through sheer luck) hit the ring road and before long we were on the open road once more!
