19th April 2014 – Yerevan, Armenia.
Today time stands still.
I’m laid in the bumpy old mattress of grass and feel the sun on my skin.
Spring is springing all around me, I smell it in my nose, it tickles.
Bee’s hover around the blossom like strings of fairy lights, their buzz like electricity.
Butterflies flit and flirt, their delicate wings sprinkling magic wherever they land. Fleeting.
I watch the petal confetti scatter in the gentle breeze and feel the stillness,
The stillness of time, the beauty of my freedom.
