Here is the scoop. Wedding dress shop ‘The White Closet’ work closely with wedding dress designer ‘Charlotte Balbier’. They had heard about our plans (Thanks Helen-Didsburylife) and have offered to supply the dress for the first wedding!
After calming Lisa down and explaining that it is not acceptable to jump around like a loon with excitement while we were there, we headed down to the white closet for a fitting.
By the nature of my luck, 2 minutes after arriving, Emma Drapers’ husband Jonny Draper, (a proffesional wedding photographer!!) had popped in for a brew. Being cheeky i said he should feel free to take some pictures… He did!
As you can see i was filming it.
Lisa tried on a few and loved the ‘Cherry’ dress (top and bottom two images) but ‘Tabitha‘ (immediately above) in antique gold won hands down! She looked amazing!
Some one is clearly enjoying this!
After getting completely giddy at trying on the dresses the next surprise was to go and meet Nicola, the lady behind the amazing bespoke handmade wedding accessories!
‘Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe’ has an exclusive collection of garters at ‘The White Closet’ and she also makes fabulous headpieces…a few of which Lisa was lucky enough to try. I’m sure she will tell you all about it tomorrow…with pics…she’s getting quite used to being the centre of attention!
